The sixth round negotiation on China-Iceland Free Trade Agreement (FTA) was held in Beijing on January 22-24, and has made substantial progress on all the major issues. The two parties hoped to make joint efforts to conclude the negotiations.

China-Iceland FTA, as an effective mechanism to promote bilateral trade and investment, will become a new milestone in strengthening China-Iceland relations once signed.
